You will manage scheduling, registration, records, and reception while leading clerical staff and ensuring complete documentation for procedures, contributing to a positive patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year experience in medical office environment preferred.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification (BLS/BCLS).
• Competence with computer systems and medical terminology; strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the radiology department, including patient scheduling, registration, recordkeeping, telephone and office reception.
• Help positively manage and coordinate each patient’s experience during their time in the radiology department.
• Perform lead duties, directing the work of radiology secretaries and other clerical staff.
• Ensure all required documentation for each procedure is present before the exam.
• Utilize reception skills to ensure high patient satisfaction, answer calls professionally.
• Assist with training of new technologists and student technologists in department procedures.
