Job summary

Radiology Associates of Hartford, PC is seeking a Patient Intake Coordinator to support front-office operations in our outpatient imaging setting. You will greet patients, assist with registration, verify demographics and insurance, and coordinate workflows to ensure smooth imaging services.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accuracy, HIPAA privacy, and teamwork. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with hourly compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with completing required paperwork and collect demographics, insurance information and photo ID as needed.
• Greet patients, provide registration and general assistance to patients.
• Verify orders, scan documents into the EMR, and confirm order accuracy prior to the exam.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and participate in training and meetings as required.
