Job summary

Radiology Associates of Hartford, Pc is looking for a dedicated scheduling coordinator to manage patient exam appointments across multiple imaging centers in Enfield, CT. The role involves handling high call volumes, updating patient demographics, and processing RX orders in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Work hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities including inbound/outbound scheduling, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring accurate, timely communication.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED with medical terminology knowledge.
• Experience with medical scheduling and radiology workflows preferred.
• Ability to handle high call volumes with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient exams per RX orders while prioritizing urgent needs.
• Make outbound calls to schedule unscheduled patients per RX.
• Verify RX orders and coordinate with referring physicians.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Manage high-volume call queues and daily schedules.
• Participate in training and team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
