Job summary

UConn Health Imaging in Farmington, CT is seeking a Patient Coordinator for PRN/Per Diem staffing to warmly welcome patients and support the front desk from registration to check-out in our outpatient imaging center.

This role emphasizes friendly, organized customer service in a fast-paced setting, with day, evening, and weekend shifts and operation seven days a week until 9 PM. PRN schedule flexibility is available.

Patient Coordinator - PRN/Per Diem (as needed staffing coverage)

Position Summary

As a Patient Coordinator, you will be one of the first points of contact for our patients and play an important role in creating a positive experience from check-in to check-out. You’ll support the front desk by assisting with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, phone calls, and other daily patient needs. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is friendly, organized, and provides excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment.

Job Details

• Position Status: PRN/Per Diem
• Schedule: As needed for staffing coverage, with flexibility to pick up shifts based on availability and center needs
• Shift Availability: Day, evening, and weekend shifts available
• Hours of Operation: 7 days/week, until 9:00 PM
• Location: Outpatient Imaging Center in Farmington, CT
