Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager for IgG4-RD in the United States. You will represent Amgen products to physicians, manage the territory, and provide disease education to healthcare professionals involved in patient care.

The role requires a strong sales background in pharma/biotech, with experience in matrix environments and cross-functional collaboration. Travel and compliance focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience in pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales; OR Associate degree with 6 years; OR high school diploma with 8 years.
• Doctorate with 2 years of account management or Master’s with 6 years or Bachelor’s with 8 years in related sales; OR Associate with 10 years.
• 7+ years of biotech, specialty pharma or rare disease sales; experience in immunology/rheumatology or in-office injection/infusion sales; matrix selling exposure.

Responsibilities

• Represent Amgen products to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish product sales and total territory account management.
• Provide disease information and education to medical professionals and external customers in care of patients.
• Execute strategic account plans; leverage cross-functional resources to close opportunities.
• Build relationships with key local, regional, and national KOLs within territory.
• Maintain high-level disease and therapeutic clinical knowledge; use consultative selling for IgG4-RD.
