Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking an Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager to promote IgG4-RD products and manage a total territory. You will educate physicians and healthcare professionals, build relationships with key opinion leaders, and work within a matrix team to meet sales objectives.

The role requires deep disease knowledge, strong communication skills, and a consultative selling approach. Flexible work models are available, with travel as needed to support accounts and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of sales experience in pharma/biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience in pharma/biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
• Doctorate degree & 2 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience OR Master’s degree & 6 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience OR Bachelor’s degree & 8 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience
• 3+ years of experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or rare disease sales; 7+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Amgen products to physicians and healthcare professionals to establish sales and manage the territory
• Provide disease information and education to medical professionals and external customers
• Navigate matrix environment with Case Managers, Medical Affairs, Patient access teams, and other stakeholders
• Build productive relationships with local, regional, and national KOLs
• Develop deep disease and therapeutic knowledge for IgG4-RD
• Use consultative selling to meet needs of HCPs treating IgG4-RD
• Ensure compliance and proper documentation and reporting
