Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Engineer for Idira identity security solutions. This role is remote, collaborating with Enterprise customers to demonstrate business value through demos and PoCs across hybrid cloud and distributed workforces.

You will work with the sales team to guide technology evaluations, serving as the primary technical resource and advocate for Idira’s solutions. Travel up to 50% may be required; strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• MIS or CS degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years pre‑sales in identity/security or equivalent tech experience.
• Hands‑on admin of AWS/Azure/GCP (IaaS/PaaS).
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, LDAP and federation.
• Knowledge of SSO/MFA/RBAC/JIT models.
• IaC familiarity: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM.
• Endpoint management and least privilege tools exposure.
• Unix/Linux, database and network security, scripting, DevOps.
• Identity/security integrations in complex environments.
• Automation scripting for demo/workflows; Idira experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical pre‑sales support for Idira Identity Security solutions.
• Lead POCs and demos to Enterprise customers and partners.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and enterprise requirements.
• Build long‑term relationships with technical teams and executives.
• Enable Idira’s partner network to communicate value.
• Represent Idira in public speaking, webinars, and trade shows.
• Relay customer requirements to product management.
• Mentor internal teams and contribute as a resource.
