Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the Idira domain within our DevOps consulting team. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, focusing on application-level and agentic AI secrets management, supporting sales with demos, POCs, and architecture discussions.

Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering to position Idira solutions to customers, secure machine identities, and drive technical wins across cloud-native apps and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering role, ideally in cybersecurity/DevOps tooling.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.).
• Understanding of cryptographic security technologies such as SSL/TLS, SSH, PKI, and HSMs
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, or autonomous AI workflows to optimize engineering and automation processes.
• Development experience in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Scripting knowledge with PowerShell or Bash.
• Ability to work with REST APIs.
• Curiosity about the DevOps landscape and trends.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration and integrating AI agents into development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations for Idira technology.
• Conduct POC evaluations and position Idira’s value to win technically.
• Act as the technical expert for machine identity security in the sales cycle.
• Partner with Account Executives to articulate value to stakeholders.
• Conduct technical discovery to understand environments, challenges, and security goals.
• Translate customer requirements into solution architecture and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with product management and R&D to influence product direction.
• Stay up to date on DevOps trends, CI/CD, Agentic AI, and best practices.
• Assist in marketing efforts to generate pipeline and leads.
• Deliver technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions.
• Travel to meet customers and attend conferences.
