Responsibilities

• Investigate formal state administrative complaints against PEAs.
• Draft letters of finding outlining facts, law, and findings.
• Develop corrective action plans if noncompliance is found.
• Answer questions from the public, PEAs, and parents.
• Read regulatory materials related to special education.
• Attend regional calls and staff meetings as needed.
• Participate in department projects and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
