Job summary

The State of Arizona, Administrative Office of the Courts, seeks a qualified investigator to lead the complaints and audits process for certified professionals and licensees.

Under supervision, you will oversee investigations, perform audits, prepare reports, and present findings at regulatory boards and hearings. A bachelor’s degree and three years’ related experience are required, with hybrid remote work after three months.

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication skills, including report writing and interviewing techniques.
• Directly related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the investigatory process from initial complaint to final disposition.
• Conduct investigations, write reports and charging documents, and present findings.
• Perform on-site and desk compliance audits of certified entities and licensed individuals.
• Assist in developing audit and investigation policies, procedures, and training.
• Interact with the public, judicial officers, and court administration; respond to inquiries.
• Travel 5–10% within Arizona.
