Job summary

Arizona Supreme Court is seeking an Investigator and Compliance Auditor – Specialist V to lead investigations of complaints against licensed professionals and conduct compliance audits across the state. You will manage cases from intake to disposition and present findings at regulatory meetings.

The role requires strong communication, research, and analytical skills, with 5-10% travel within Arizona and potential hybrid work after a probationary period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field (or directly related experience substituting for degree).
• Experience in operational review, auditing, and investigative report writing is essential.
• Strong communication skills, including reports and interviews, are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the investigatory process from initial complaint through final disposition.
• Conduct investigations, write investigative reports and charging documents, and present findings.
• Testify at hearings and participate in regulatory board meetings as needed.
• Perform on-site and desk compliance audits of entities and licensed individuals.
• Collaborate with unit manager, in-house counsel and external counsel to resolve cases.
• Serve as initial public contact and help develop policies and procedures.
