Job summary

AMS Impact Group is seeking an experienced ESS Regional Coordinator to oversee implementation and compliance of special education services across multiple AMS campuses in the Phoenix metro area.

The role reports to the Director of Exceptional Student Services and requires expertise in IDEA, IEP processes, and compliance monitoring. The position involves frequent travel, coaching, and collaboration with campus leaders and teachers.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate required (Mild/Moderate endorsement preferred).
• Minimum of three years of Special Education teaching experience.
• Experience leading MET/RED and IEP meetings.
• Experience supporting the implementation of special education services and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Exceptional Student Services representative for assigned campuses.
• Support the implementation of special education programs and ensure consistency across the region.
• Collaborate with campus administrators, special education teachers, and case managers to ensure students receive appropriate services.
• Provide consultation regarding special education procedures, instructional supports, and program implementation.
• Assist the Director of Exceptional Student Services with departmental initiatives and special projects.
