Job summary

AMS Impact Group seeks an experienced ESS Regional Coordinator to support special education services across multiple Academies of Math and Science campuses in the Phoenix area. The role reports to the Director of Exceptional Student Services and emphasizes compliance, program implementation, and collaboration with campus staff.

The ideal candidate brings IDEA knowledge, IEP expertise, and strong coaching abilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of Special Education teaching experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading MET/RED and IEP meetings.
• Experience supporting implementation of special education services and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary ESS representative for assigned campuses.
• Support implementation of special education programs and ensure regional consistency.
• Partner with campus administrators, special education teachers, and case managers to ensure services.
• Provide consultation regarding procedures, instructional supports, and program implementation.
• Assist the Director of Exceptional Student Services with departmental initiatives and projects.
• Review evaluation reports (MET/RED) and IEPs to ensure IDEA and state compliance.
