Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. is seeking a Training Coordinator to coordinate employee trainings for the Intellectual and Developmental Disability Department. The role ensures staff are in compliance with regulatory standards and acts as the primary trainer for in-person classes.

Located in Butler, PA, with occasional travel throughout Western PA. The position emphasizes staff development experience, strong presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and five years of experience in Human Resources, Training and Development, and/or a Management Role OR Associate Degree in HR, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling / Guidance, etc.
• Possess Strong Presentation Skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and have strong organization with the ability to prioritize
• Ability to lift, push, pull or move up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Must have valid Driver’s License and the ability to Travel within Western PA for business utilizing personal vehicle

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee trainings to ensure regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards are met.
• Identify staff training needs and assist with creating training curriculum.
• Serve as main trainer for required in-person classes at Lifesteps.
• Support Coordinators and Program Specialists as needed.
• Travel within Western PA for business as required.
