Job summary

Lifesteps Inc is seeking a Program Specialist Supervisor to lead and train Community Homes staff, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and agency policies. This exempt, full-time role is based in Butler, PA with a schedule of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, plus on-call duties.

The supervisor will oversee development of ISP, Restrictive Procedure Plans, Social Emotional Environmental Plans and related accounts, advocating for adults with intellectual disabilities in meetings

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above with 1 year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• 60 credit hours with 4 years’ experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to articulate information to a diverse audience.
• Must secure and maintain training requirements for Crisis Prevention Intervention within three months of hire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess a valid driver's license which legally permits operating a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Program Specialists to ensure development of Individual Support Plans and related plans.
• Oversee quality assurance and compliance with licensing regulations and agency policies.
• Represent adults with developmental disabilities in meetings with families, counties, and Supports Coordinators.
