Job summary

Lifesteps Inc. is seeking a Training Coordinator to coordinate employee trainings for the Intellectual and Developmental Disability Department. The role includes identifying training needs, creating curricula, recommending development plans, and serving as the main trainer for in-person classes.

The position requires strong presentation and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel within Western PA. This is a full-time on-site role in Butler, PA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5 years in HR, Training and Development, and/or a Management Role OR Associate Degree in HR, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling / Guidance, etc.
• Possess Strong Presentation Skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and have strong organization with the ability to prioritize
• Ability to lift, push, pull or move up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Must have valid Driver’s License and the ability to Travel within Western PA for business utilizing personal vehicle

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff trainings to ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.
• Identify staff training needs and assist with creating training curriculum; develop training or development plans.
• Monitor training activities to mitigate risks and ensure quality.
• Serve as the main presenter/instructor for required in-person classes at Lifesteps.
• Support Coordinators, Program Specialists, and Behavior Support staff in this administrative role.
