Zusammenfassung

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Administrative Support professional to assist unit-based and hospital-wide clinicians, coordinating patient flow and intake, with weekend evening shifts (3p-11:30p) at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

You will manage scheduling, admissions, discharges, transfers, and ensure accurate data entry in the electronic medical record, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate's Degree related field preferred.
• 1-2 years administrative support experience required.
• Certified Health Unit Coordinator (NAHUC) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Performs clerical duties to assist in general administration of unit/floor.
• Greet patients, families, visitors, and staff professionally.
• Enteraccurate, timely information into the electronic medical record for admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Schedule consultations, tests, procedures, and patient transport.
• Coordinate with ancillary departments to obtain equipment, services and supplies.
