Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health, Jersey City Medical Center, is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit on the night shift. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate with the care team, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Candidates should hold an ASN or Nursing Diploma, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be proficient with computer systems used in clinical environments.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Proficient computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Ensure patient safety and apply evidence-based practices in daily care.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to the care team and collaborate with other providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes for patient care.
