Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health's Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in New Brunswick seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time night shift. This role supports critically ill patients in a 16-bed unit, with a focus on evidence-based practice, teamwork, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- 1 year of critical care RN experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing strongly preferred or must be completed within 5 years of hire.
- CCRN and ACLS certifications are preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
- Administer medications and treatments safely with strong clinical judgment.
- Collaborate with physicians and care team to coordinate care.
- Provide patient and family education to support understanding and engagement.
- Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
- Participate in rounds and contribute to care planning.
