Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health in Hamilton Township, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit on the night shift. The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ICU experience.
You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document care in EPIC to support safe transitions. A BSN is preferred, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing
- ASN or Nursing diploma required; BSN strongly preferred
- BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Experience in Acute Care ICU preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes
- Administer medications and treatments safely with strong clinical judgment
- Collaborate with physicians and providers for timely, coordinated care
- Educate patients and families to ensure understanding of care plans
- Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity of care
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to team decisions
- Support ongoing professional growth and career development
