Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts in the ICU at Jersey City Medical Center. You will provide patient-centered nursing care, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and ensure regulatory compliance and safety in all patient interactions.

Required are NJ RN licensure and BLS; ACLS within 6 months; ICU or Med/Surg/Telemetry experience preferred. Night shift runs 7p-7a with a 35.3‑hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice and regulatory standards.
• Ensure safety in practice and communicate with team to advance patient care.
• Report safety issues and medical errors and maintain clinical knowledge.
• Supervise delegation of tasks and collaborate with other care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with interventions and measurable outcomes.
