Job summary

The Registered Nurse RN position is based in our Mount Carmel Dublin ICU. The role includes mentoring/coaching nurses in the IMC and M/S Units and serving as Rapid Response for the hospital.

This is a full-time 12-hour day shift within the Mount Carmel Health System, a part of Trinity Health. You will deliver patient-centered care under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with patients and families to develop and implement plans of care, and documenting thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Casual RNs require 2 years of experience.
• New graduate nurses with <1 year will be enrolled in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and maintains patient safety with evidence-based practice.
• Collaborates with patient and family to develop and implement a care plan including physical, spiritual, and education components.
• Communicates pertinent information to the care team promptly.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes per policy and guidelines.
• Assumes responsibility for care by other licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
