Job summary

Mount Carmel Dublin is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ICU team for a 12-hour night shift in a new hospital setting. The Staff RN will mentor/coach nurses in the IMC and M/S Units and act as Rapid Response for the hospital.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from a nursing program and an active Ohio RN license. New grads may enter the Nurse Residency Program; two years of experience is required for Casual RNs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Casual RNs require 2 years of experience.
• New graduate nurses with less than 1 year of clinical experience are enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, and supports evidence-based practice within Mount Carmel Magnet standards.
• Assesses and evaluates care for an assigned group of patients and develops a plan of care with patient/family.
• Communicates pertinent information to the care team in a timely manner and keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with policies and guidelines.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by other staff as appropriate.
