Job summary

Mount Carmel Dublin, part of Mount Carmel Health System, seeks a Registered Nurse RN for a casual staff position in the ICU on the night shift. The RN will mentor nurses in IMC and M/S units and serve as Rapid Response for the hospital.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Casual RNs: 2 years of experience required.
• New graduate nurses with <1 year of clinical experience enter Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and ensures patient safety while promoting evidence-based practice.
• Assesses and plans care for assigned patients with collaboration from patients and families.
• Communicates pertinent information to the team in a timely manner; keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes per guidelines.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided by other licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
