Job summary

Mount Carmel Dublin, part of Mount Carmel Health System, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit in our new hospital. The role includes mentoring/coaching nurses in the IMC and M/S units and acting as Rapid Response for the hospital.

You will provide care under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with the care team to deliver patient-centered care and documenting thoroughly. This position emphasizes evidence-based practice within a Magnet-recognized framework.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care, collaborates with patient and family to develop a plan of care.
• Communicates pertinent information to team members in a timely manner and keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes per standards and guidelines.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
