Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical ICU at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s in Ohio. The unit emphasizes high-quality, multidisciplinary ICU care with nurse-to-patient ratios of 2:1, and 1:1 or 3:1 in certain cases.

The RN will provide nursing care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with a dedicated ICU team to support physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs of patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• New graduate nurses with <1 year may enroll in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care with patient safety and quality initiatives.
• Assesses and plans care with patients and families.
• Communicates information timely to the team.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
