Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Casual RNs require 2 years of experience.
• New graduate nurses with less than 1 year of clinical experience are enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care for an assigned group of patients; collaborates with patient and family to develop a plan of care.
• Communicates pertinent information to the team in a timely manner and keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately and in accordance with standards.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by other caregivers.
