Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit in Westerville, OH. The role requires providing high‑quality care in a 12-bed unit with occasional overflow to SICU, with patient load managed to maintain safety and evidence-based practice.

The RN will collaborate with ICU physicians and the care team, document thoroughly, and participate in a Nurse Residency Program if newer to clinical work. Relocation and professional development benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• 2 years of experience for Casual RNs.
• New graduate nurses may enroll in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care while ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Assess and evaluate patient conditions; collaborate with patients and families to plan care.
• Communicate pertinent information to the care team in a timely manner and update families.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes in accordance with policy.
• Accept accountability for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
