Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support RN/LPN in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in Indiana. The PCT performs delegated basic care tasks, assists with activities of daily living, and helps maintain a safe, organized care environment.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with meals and mobility, collecting specimens, and reporting results to the nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care, maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records vital signs, intake/output, and other patient data for RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports patients with meals, bathing, grooming, and ADL activities.
• Assists with mobility, positioning, and use of walkers or wheelchairs.
• Performs urine and stool collection and glucose monitoring; documents results for RN/LPN/LVN.
• Maintains infection control and PPE guidelines and participates in safety initiatives.
