Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support RN/LPN in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe care environment.

You will communicate effectively with the care team, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Prior acute care exposure is preferred; BCLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifikationen

• 0-2 years in an acute care setting preferred
• PCT provides direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision
• BCLS within 90 days of hire required

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care tasks
• Collect and record patient data (vital signs, height, weight, intake/output)
• Support patients with meals, bathing, grooming and daily activities
• Assist with positioning, ambulation and mobility aids
• Maintain infection control and PPE protocols
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives
