Lutheran Health Network in Warsaw, IN is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and support mobility, feeding, and personal care while maintaining safety and infection control standards.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in acute care or are enrolled in a nursing program; CNA or CPCT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute care or current nursing program is preferred.
• CNA or CPCT certification is preferred.
• Ability to follow delegated tasks and maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Record patient data such as vital signs and intake/output and report to RN/LPN.
• Support meals, bathing, grooming, and mobility needs of patients.
• Assist with positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and monitor blood glucose as directed.
• Maintain clear communication with the care team and follow infection control protocols.
• Observe safety protocols and use PPE correctly.
• Participate in performance improvement and risk management initiatives.
