Job summary

Qualifications

• Texas RN or NP licensure is required.
• Current Texas NP license and APRN board certification for the patient population.
• BLS and ACLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• ACNP-BC/ACNPC-AG/NNP-BC certification as applicable.
• Strong clinical judgement and collaboration with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and medical histories with comprehensive exams.
• Orders, interprets labs and diagnostics to assess health needs.
• Prescribes medications and therapies under physician supervision.
• Develops and implements treatment plans based on assessments and evidence-based care.
• Counsels patients and families on medications, regimens, and health promotion.
• Maintains and updates patient records; coordinates admissions and discharges.
• Provides consultation and on-call support as needed.
• Performs invasive procedures as delegated by supervising physician.
