Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for Intensivist care on nights. The role supports critical care patients, with a 7on/14off schedule and independent patient management within the ICU.

The NP will round, order tests, prescribe meds, and collaborate with supervising physicians. Texas NP license, ACNP-BC certification, BLS/ACLS within 30 days of hire are required. Benefits include health, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• Texas NP license/APR N required.
• ACNP-BC or equivalent board certification required.
• RN license required in Texas; practice as NP with/without supervision as per state rules.
• BLS and ACLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as ICU intensivist during night shifts.
• Perform rounds, order tests, and manage admissions/discharges.
• Prescribe medications per supervising physician scope.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate with ICU team.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
