Job summary

Air Methods in Fresno seeks an experienced Critical Care Flight Nurse to join its Community Base Services team. You will provide high-quality care during transport, perform assessments, triage, and treatment under Medical Directors guidance, and contribute to patient safety on every mission.

The role requires 3+ years of critical care, an RN license, and willingness to travel about 5%. Flight experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience.
• Current RN license(s) for states of practice.
• Flight experience is not required but is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care during transport and assess/triage patients per Air Methods CBS Medical Directors.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation and ensure safety standards on every mission.
• Participate in pre-mission liftoff checklists and support the pilot as needed.
