Job summary

Air Methods CBS seeks an experienced RN for critical care transport on helicopter missions in Fresno, CA. You will deliver ICU-level nurse care during air transport, assess patients, and ensure safety and readiness in a fast-paced EMS setting.

Required are RN licensure and 3+ years of critical care experience, plus eligibility for state EMS regulations. The role includes on-call rotation and ongoing education support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care and transport care per CBS Medical Director standards.
• Assess illness/injury to prioritize care for safe helicopter transport.
• Maintain documentation and equipment readiness onboard aircraft.
• Participate in pre/post mission briefings and safety protocols.
