Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, AZ is seeking an RN for the Resource Team ICU Float, stationed at Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital. You will cover ICU and CVICU patients and may float to Med/Surg, PCU, and Obs units as staffing requires.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and collaboration with the care team. Schedule is full-time days, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with weekend rotations and differential incentives.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice (or compact).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care.
• Implement and document nursing care per physician orders.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust plan as needed.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff as applicable.
