Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix seeks an RN ICU Float Pool to provide high-quality nursing care on the ICU unit at Banner Estrella Medical Center. You may float to Med/Surg, PCU, and Obs units based on staffing.

The role requires a current RN license, BLS, and acute care experience; schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with weekend rotations and differential incentives. Banner Health offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is desired.
• Banner Registry and Travel positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and related clearances may be required for some Banner roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and discharge planning within policy.
• Formulate and revise plans of care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care per physician orders and nursing plan of care.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Promote patient safety and participate in continuous quality improvement.
