Job summary

Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) is seeking a Staff Nurse responsible for interpreting care plans, assessing patients, and delivering safe, individualized nursing care. Qualifications

• Graduation from a state accredited or approved school of nursing.
• Must maintain current licensure in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Takes report from prior shift and gives report to oncoming shift with patient status and plan of care.
• Performs assessments and reassessments of patients.
• Interprets the plan of care, evaluates patients, and devises the care plan.
• Provides supervision to LPNs, Nursing Aides, and Clerks where applicable.
• Implements the patient plan of care and monitors patient responses to care.
