Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Up to one year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient assessments, formulates plan of care, oversees implementation, and evaluates outcomes using critical thinking.
• Performs nursing acts within board regulations and standards in the assigned department.
• Care coordination, health teaching, and promotion using Teach Back methodology.
• Administers medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Supervises and mentors staff and students; collaborates with team members.
• Participates in discharge planning and transition of care; serves as patient advocate.
