Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool Registered Nurse to support ICU service lines across CVICU, SICU, and MICU. Candidates must have experience caring for critically ill patients and be comfortable floating between ICU environments.

The RN may also assist in other hospital areas as needed to meet patient care and staffing demands. Three ICU specialties at the Auburn Avenue campus include CVICU (cardiovascular), SICU (surgical), and MICU (medical).

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months for ICU/step-down.
• BSN within 5 years or MSN/DNP may supersede.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using holistic nursing assessment and the Christ Hospital model.
• Coordinate and communicate with the healthcare team to develop and implement plans of care.
• Provide evidence-based nursing actions, safety measures, and patient/family education.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure continuity of care.
