Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support our ICU service lines, including CVICU, SICU and MICU. The RN should be comfortable floating across multiple ICU environments and providing high‑quality, evidence‑based care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities include holistically assessing patients, communicating clearly with the team, and participating in discharge planning and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for ICU/step-down areas.
• ADN/ASN or BSN acceptable; BSN within 5 years for hires after 2010.

Responsibilities

• Float pool RN to support ICU service lines (CVICU, SICU, MICU).
• Provide holistic nursing care, assessments, and interventions.
• Utilize SBAR and handoff processes to communicate patient status.
• Participate in discharge planning, safety initiatives, and interdisciplinary rounds.
