Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support our ICU service lines. Candidates should have experience caring for critically ill patients and be comfortable floating between multiple ICU environments.

Resource Float Pool RNs may also be asked to support other areas throughout the hospital based on patient care and staffing needs. Our three ICU specialties—CVICU, SICU, and MICU—offer diverse patient populations and opportunities for advanced critical care

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license in good standing.
• BSN within 5 years of hire if applicable; MSN/DNP not required but acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients across ICU settings.
• Communicate with physicians and teams using SBAR; participate in handoffs.
• Provide patient and family education; ensure safety and quality of care.
• Respond to emergencies with prompt, decisive action and escalation as needed.
