Job summary

Methodist Hospital in Texas is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions during the shift. The CNC works with leadership to direct nursing care, support staff, and model the organization’s mission and values.

The CNC will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, lead in alignment with the hospital's vision, and assist with staffing, inventory and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program
• Minimum of one year ICU clinical experience as a licensed RN
• 2-5 years of ICU experience highly preferred
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact—Texas license required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Manage staff scheduling and productivity in alignment with patient care needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
