Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate nursing functions on the unit during the designated shift. The CNC collaborates with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in line with policies and outcomes that support exceptional patient experience.

Requirements include a nursing degree (diploma/associate/bachelor), Texas RN license, and at least 1 year of RN experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree in nursing
• BSN preferred
• Current Texas RN licensure required; Compact RN must obtain TX license within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the unit.
• Lead and mentor staff; coordinate shift resources.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management per productivity guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Represent the organization in community events and in-services.
