Job summary

Methodist Boerne Emergency Center seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead nursing care on the shift, coordinate patient flow, and act as a resource for staff. You will partner with management to monitor outcomes and support a patient-centered culture.

Responsibilities include admissions/discharges, staff development, scheduling, and implementing nursing strategies to improve engagement and performance. Texas RN licensure required with applicable certifications.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of start date.
• STABLE certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course.
• (RN) Registered Nurse licensed in Texas.
• ED Pediatric Course or PALS within 90 days.
• 2 years of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist admission and discharge to ensure throughput and quality care.
• Assess quality of patient care with management team.
• Collaborate to create teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery.
• Implement nursing strategies and hourly rounds to boost engagement.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, training, and policy actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Support inventory control of supplies and equipment.
