Job summary

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in the Operating Room. The CNC will lead patient-centered care, coordinate unit functions, and collaborate with the management team to enhance outcomes and staff performance.

The role requires an RN license (TX or multi-state with Texas license due within 60 days), a diploma/associate/baccalaureate RN degree, and at least two years of healthcare experience; BSN and three years preferred, plus

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree RN program.
• Registered Nurse license in Texas or active Multi-State RN Compact license (Texas license within 60 days if compact).
• Minimum two years healthcare experience; BSN and 3 years preferred; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality, patient-centered care and coordination during the shift.
• Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care per policies; support staff and teammates.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, staffing, scheduling, and supply management.
• Participate in interviewing, training, and performance evaluations as needed.
