Qualifications

• Texas RN license required; ICU-CCU experience preferred.
• ACLS within 3 months of hire; NIHSS within 6 months; TNCC/TCAR within 6 months.
• ENLS preferred for NSICU; cross-training to related areas.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Perform nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and provide education to patients/families.
• Support unit operations; respond to unit needs including weekends/holidays.
