Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night shift (3x3) in the ICU-CCU. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and ensure high-quality outcomes through the nursing process.

Eligible candidates will have a Texas RN license, nursing degree, and certifications; ACLS/NIHSS/TNCC or ENLS per unit requirements, with cross-training and leadership potential. This role emphasizes patient safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required (BSN preferred).
• Current registered nurse’s license in the State of Texas required.
• ACLS certification within six (3) months of hire.
• NIHSS certification within six (6) months of hire.
• TNCC/TCAR within six (6) months of hire.
• ENLS certification preferred for NSICU.
• Cross training to like areas.
• Willingness to be trained for charge nurse.
• Willingness to become a preceptor after two years of nursing experience.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English –verbal and written and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients with established standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate nursing records.
