Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Logistics Coordinator (Inventory Control Quality Assurance (ICQA) Associate) to join our Supply Chain team in New York. This newly created role focuses on improving inventory accuracy and supply quality across our main campus hospital, with primary oversight for perioperative, electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, and radiology inventories.

The position requires physical mobility, work Mon-Fri 8am-4pm, and readiness to adapt as workflows evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
• 0–1 year of project management or procurement experience in healthcare
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with ERP/WMS/IMS systems (PeopleSoft, RFID)
• Strong analytical skills for inventory data
• Attention to detail for accurate counting

Responsibilities

• Cycle counting to ensure on-hand quantities align with totals.
• Audit bin locations to enforce FIFO and identify expired stock.
• Reconcile discrepancies and determine root cause using PO/count data.
• Evaluate excess inventory and process returns to vendors.
• Locate and remove recalled items from shelves and report summaries.
• Support RFID program launch and flag items at risk of expiring.
• Assist in par level reviews and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze count data and report weekly to the Manager of Clinical Supply Chain Management.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and support data-driven decisions.
