Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a part-time Ice Cream Specialist (Dip Clerk) to deliver the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience. Responsibilities include making hand-dipped cones, shakes and malts, serving Guests, and handling POS transactions with accuracy.

The role requires 16+ years old, ability to work in shifts (1st, 2nd or 3rd), and a pay range of $11.50–$13.50 per hour. Applicants must maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and adhere to all safety and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment, including POS terminal and gas console, and to check IDs.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and provide the Hi Five Guest Experience; ensure store is ready for Guests at all times.
• Prepare shakes, malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Accurately process transactions and handle coins/currency/credit cards/coupons.
• Keep shelves, displays, and freezers filled and presented; rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain awareness to prevent shoplifting and drive-offs; follow security procedures.
• Keep store and parking lot clean and safe; monitor temperatures of refrigeration equipment.
• Complete time records and Customer First Documentation accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
